Diletti Chardonnay 2009
assessment
Colour:
Straw coloured with green hues.
Bouquet: Complex nose
showing white stone fruits, mealy characters, grilled nuts and underlying
hints of quality French Oak.
Palate: That lovely
complexity also dominates the palate. The front is rich with ripe
stone-fruits, which is backed by the mealy natural ferment characters. The
mid palate has wonderful texture and great balance of the French oak
characters. While the finish is very long and fine thanks to a crisp,
citrus-pith, acidity.
food accompaniment
A complex Chardonnay which will compliment a wide
range of meals including pasta, white meats and game dishes.
cellaring potential
Will continue to improve and develop complexity with
age; cellar for 5 to 8 years
